Beloved: A Celebration of Toni Morrison (Evening Two)
On June 18, Luminato 2022 Festival and literary critic Donna Bailey Nurse, welcomed Myriam J. A. Chancy (What Storm, What Thunder), Dawnie Walton (Final Revival of Opal & Nev), Aminatta Forna (The Memory of Love), and Esi Edugyan (Washington Black) for an intimate conversation as they honoured the legacy of Toni Morrison and celebrated the unrivalled impact she has had on Black women writers around the world.
This event was hosted by Nicky Lawrence, directed by Dian Marie Bridge and featured a house band led by Orin Isaacs.
